Days of my life

As some may have noticed, I am missing the poetry writing class quite often, now I don't mean to be missing it on purpose, but I just feel like I'm being pushed to the limits of my mental beeing, which I believe we can all relate to. Now as for this project comming up I have decided to go along the lines of a ballad writer, I have not chosen who as of yet, but I feel that and haiku forms of poetry will be best for me. Plus the fact that I like those styles of writing the most didn't hurt in my choices any. :-D If anyone has any ideas as to whom I can write about, please dont be shy, just leave me a comment, I'm always glad to hear from people.

  1. Write a poem about how bees have taken up residence inside your head and are making honey. Thus rendering you unable to write poems.

  2. I have struggled with the attendance policy in the past. This semester I have tried to have somewhat close to perfect attendance and it is really difficult. You say you're pushed to the limits of your mental being? If by this you mean you are stressed out and struggling- I feel the same. Some advice that my mom told me that has always stuck in my head and that maybe you could take into consideration is, "Bring the body and the mind will follow." If you can force yourself to get to class then maybe after a few hours go by you'll be feeling better. It notice it but it's hard to put forth the effort.

  3. Haiku is an unusual way to go for poetry. It isn't a form used much in the United States, but it seems you may have a thing for it. From what I've heard of haiku those who write it write about nature and beauty. Something to do with the natural. Also, a mindset; so writing haiku can help relieve stress. You can always try writing about how tired you are and why you miss classes. Whatever comes to mind, but I have to say you're a little daring for trying such an art form.

  4. I totally understand the feeling of missing classes! Specially if it's one of the ones that help us write a poem. I feel as if i get behind if I don't have the patience to write it then and there.
