She's the First!

One of my best friends attends Syracuse University and participates in probably every organization they have on campus. One of the groups she feels most strongly about and I really like the idea behind it, is called “She’s the First”. It’s a national non-profit organization that funds education for girls in developing countries. I found this link on her Facebook page and thought some of you might enjoy it. It employs the help of the social media phenomenon Twitter and wants the participants to respond to the question “If the world was your classroom, what would you teach a girl?” in 140-characters or less. The reward of the competition is having the ten best versus published together and sold on e-cards. All the money raised from the e-cards will go directly towards funding a girl’s education in Sudan.
