Meditations in an Emergency

After reading a handful of pieces by Frank O'Hara, it caused me to dig up a book I had neglected to read from my shelf- Meditations in an Emergency. I had purchased the book long ago after reading the first poem, "To The Harbormaster", which still to this day is one of my favorite poems.

I think Meditations provides a nice contrast to the work of O'Hara we covered in class, revealing a more romantic, passive, and removed O'Hara in comparison to his more self aware and cynical works.

Once the madness of finals have passed, it'll definitely be a summer read for me.
